TURNKEY PROGRAM
Our virtual career readiness model is the ultimate in mobility. We know no boundaries and serve students wherever there is an internet connection. That same willingness to serve all students extends to schools that don't have the resources or ability to expand their career education program to meet student needs.
Destinations for School Districts is a complete turnkey career readiness program. Students remain enrolled in their existing school for their core courses and other electives but can enroll in a Destinations Career Academy for the career program only. Not only do students enjoy the benefits of taking career-focused courses, but they can participate in career technical service organizations, prepare for certification exams, and even enjoy the Destinations Career Academy guidance counselor and internship support.
Watch this video to learn how Destinations can help school districts increase access to career readiness for all students, and provide a new level of training for a changing job market.
Destinations Direct and the Racine School District
Through Destinations Direct at the Destinations Career Academy of Wisconsin, students from Racine School District Case High School participated part-time in the virtual Heavy Machine Operators program of study developed by the Wisconsin Operating Engineers Union Local 139. Destinations Direct enabled these students to complete online courses that yield Advanced Standing Credit from Fox Valley Technical College and hours toward an adult apprenticeship with the International Union of Operating Engineers.
