WHY ATTEND THE MIDWINTER MASHUP?

We understand you probably want to spend your break watching TikToks and taking some well-deserved naps, which is why we created the perfect, low-commitment Midwinter Mashup. For just a few hours over three days, you can gain the confidence you need to land a part-time job or internship.

You'll get tips from career experts on a wide range of topics, including:

  • How to create a resume that stands out and gets results
  • Ways to use social media to build a personal brand
  • Tips for developing strong interviewing skills and techniques
  • Where and how to look for exciting internship opportunities

Building a strong resume and knowing how to network and communicate effectively can help you secure an internship or summer job before others start looking. Whether you plan to go to college or straight into a career after high school, the job-hunting skills you learn will help you prepare for the future.

And because nobody likes all work and no play, we will have plenty of surprises to keep things fun. By registering, you will also have an opportunity to enter a sweepstakes to win an iPad®. By submitting your registration and emailing your entry to the sweepstakes you agree to the rules [PDF].

So make the most of your winter break by attending one, two, or all three of the Midwinter Mashup sessions. Don't worry, you'll still have plenty of time for group chats with your friends and binge-watching episodes of Stranger Things.

WHAT IS THE MIDWINTER MASHUP SCHEDULE?

Each session will be led by industry professionals and career experts who will share hands-on tools, tips, and training to boost students' confidence and build their skills for today's work environment.
