Letters: Career Academy helped student excel

Originally published in Longmont Times-Call – June 5, 2019

We enrolled our son Ryan at Colorado Destinations Career Academy (CODCA) so he could finish his high school career. Ryan is a graduating senior this year and had only three credits left toward graduation and CODCA offered him the most individualized academic plan.

Ryan was able to take ownership of his education at CODCA. He maximized his time and invested in his anticipated game development career field. Ryan spends between 40-80 hours weekly taking online courses and learning on his own to become competitive in this increasingly popular field. Ryan was able to get the best high school education coupled with career development by attending CODCA — it’s a game-changer for him!

Ryan plans to continue his efforts beyond graduation. He enjoys the game development field so much that it doesn’t feel like work to him. We’re excited for the opportunities ahead of Ryan and how CODCA has helped him get a jump-start on his future.
