Idaho teen entrepreneur on track to sell $100K in custom fishing rods by the end of the year

Originally aired on Fox Business – March 4, 2019

Corbin Broner, a 17-year-old Idaho teen, is on his way to selling $100,000 in custom fishing rods by the end of the year. Just about a year ago, Corbin started this business out of his home, handmaking each single rod and customizing them to every customer’s needs.

He decided to take his passion and turn it into a business, and now sells custom rods all across the country, both online and in-stores. “I really want to try to make it a full time career,” he says “I want to do pro-fishing for competitive bass fishing.” Corbin is now a senior at the Idaho Technical Career Academy and hopes to go off to college to earn a degree in Business.
