OHVA Career Readiness Director Lauren Logan on The Gary Jeff Walker Show

Originally aired on WLW-AM – June 10, 2019

Ohio Virtual Academy Career Readiness Director Lauren Logan was on The Gary Jeff Walker show to discuss how online learning and career readiness education can help students prepare for future careers. With more than 7 million unfilled jobs and record-low unemployment numbers, students need to be prepared with the skills needed to fill these jobs. Taking career readiness classes can prepare students to follow these paths. “There’s a misconception out there that you need to be college bound to be successful. While that’s definitely true for some occupations, there are so many jobs out there that we just need people who are willing to put the time and effort in to learn those skills,” Lauren said. Watch her full interview on The Gary Jeff Walker show, starting at 64:50.
