Originally aired on CBS Pittsburgh - October 27, 2020
Insight PA Cyber Charter School teacher Ben Leskovansky joined CBS Pittsburgh to discuss teaching coding and game design.
In the interview, he discussed why coding and game design are pivotal to learning and growth in today's world.
When asked what type of jobs students could eventually land as coders, Leskovansky mentioned software development, web design, game design, and gamification, which he said is "huge in education."
"Coding is everywhere," he said. "No matter what field [students] go into, I think there's going to be some sort of technology that coding can adapt to and apply skills to that field."
