Across Michigan, there’s a shortage of nurses and other healthcare professionals. Ironically enough, the pandemic has created a spike in interest with young adults looking into a career in the medical field.
Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy based in Manistee says their K through 12 programs are a great start to get students engaged in a career pathway when it comes to health care.
