Insight Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School Ready to Help Families Enroll for the 2020-2021 School Year

EXTON, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Insight Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School (Insight PA), an online public-school serving K-12 students throughout the state, is ready to welcome students to enroll for the 2020-2021 school year beginning February 27.

Insight PA gives your student a personalized learning experience designed to assist those who seek alternative pathways to education.

With over 3 years as a trusted education program, Insight PA is available to all students who reside in Pennsylvania. Authorized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and delivered entirely online, Insight PA combines online instruction, rigorous curriculum and the support of state-licensed teachers.

In addition to working towards their high school diplomas, Insight PA students can participate in the Destinations Career Program, which allows them to discover exciting options for their future in career fields like Accounting, Programming and Gaming, Pharmacy Tech, and Certified Nurse Assistant.

As an example, Insight PA has partnered with Pennsylvania College of Technology to provide students with the opportunity to earn the Manufacturing Technician Level 1 certification from the Manufacturing Skills Institute. Students who complete the Advanced Manufacturing Pre-Apprenticeship Program will possess the essential skills to enter the manufacturing workforce as an entry-level technician. More information can be found at

In addition, students can join a pre-apprenticeship program with The Association of Builders and Contractors, which gives students the skills and knowledge to enter the construction industry.

Students can also earn college credits through partnerships with local colleges and prepare to take industry-recognized certification exams upon graduation.

“With college costs spiraling out of control nationwide, it’s good to get an idea of what you want to do before you get there. Our career program lets students try new things and get a sense for the options they have, while still in high school, helping Pennsylvania students take charge of their own future,” says Insight PA CEO, Eileen Cannistraci.

Overall, Insight PA offers challenging academic curriculum focused on college preparation. Students take a full course load in the core subjects of math, science, English language arts, history, art and music. Electives include world languages, as well as high school honors courses. Insight PA also offers student clubs, in-person field trips, and social gatherings to foster a sense of school community.

Virtual classes are taught by Pennsylvania-licensed teachers who provide instruction during live online class sessions, and are available to students via phone, email and one-to-one meetings.

“The faculty at this school have been a shining light, a beacon of hope and a spiritual compass who have brought my daughter back from a very dark and dismal place in her life and in her education,” said Mr. David Marsh, father of an Insight PA 7th grader. “Together, they have rekindled the fire that was dulled to a flickering spark as a result of bullying in her previous brick and mortar school. My daughter now dreams again, now plays again, and now has hope of a promising tomorrow. Their dedication and undying support have given my family a new, stronger, foundation to build upon and I stand behind them 100%.”

Students choose online school for a variety of reasons including advanced learning, a bullying-free environment, and the ability to support extracurricular pursuits or medical needs. Insight PA’s online platform gives students the opportunity to pursue their academic goals in a supportive environment and at an appropriate pace for their learning style.

Insight PA is now accepting enrollments for the 2020-2021 school year. Families are encouraged to attend an online or in-person information session hosted by the school. More information on Insight PA, how to enroll, and a schedule of upcoming events can be found at
