Curious how a seat on the Destinations Student Advisory Council might work for you? Here are some answers.
How much will I be paid?
K12 pays a competitive hourly rate for interns. Your pay will be based on work completed and timesheets approved by your K12 point of contact. There will be opportunities for focus groups and other projects throughout the year for which you can earn additional pay.
When will associates be selected?
We will evaluate applications and conduct interviews in late September and October. We expect to announce selections in late October. Don't hesitate to apply now!
What will training be like?
You'll start with a virtual kickoff session in November with all selected interns and executives from the Destinations program at K12. We'll give you all the tools you'll need to be successful, including a roadmap for when work is due, as well as contacts at your school and K12 to help you with your questions. Throughout the year, you'll be guided by the K12 program manager who leads the Advisory Council.
